ShaperPedro is one of the founders of the iconic Hotstick brand in the 1980s. He began shaping in 1975 and has shaped over 40,000 boards.

He has been responsible for boards ridden by surfers such as Leo Neves, Neco Padaratz, Sávio Carneiro, William Cardoso, Josh Kerr, among many others.

In 1995, he brought Rusty Surfboards the renowned San Diego, California-based brand to Brazil, where it quickly established a successful presence in the market.

In 2007, after an invitation from Rusty himself, Pedro moved to California, starting as a shaper and later becoming responsible for the ISP (International Surfboards Program), a program that manages the global licensing and distribution of Rusty Surfboards. He then began traveling and shaping at licensed facilities worldwide, including Brazil, Portugal, Japan, South Africa, England, France, Bali, and Australia.
