About the board:
The Ventura is a hybrid between a high-performance board and a groveler.
It features a slightly fuller nose and a slightly narrower swallow tail. The outline has a more pronounced curve, allowing sharper turns in the pocket while maintaining clean lines.
The bottom rocker is more pronounced in the nose and flatter in the tail, making it great for late drops while providing drive and control in turns.
The rails are semi-full, allowing the board to bite in more powerful waves while gliding smoothly in weaker surf without catching.
The bottom features a medium-to-strong single concave throughout the board, accentuated between the fins where the surfer’s pressure is applied.
The result is a board that performs well in a variety of conditions: easy to surf yet powerful, with drive that enables more radical turn arcs, similar to high-performance boards.
The Ventura generates plenty of speed thanks to its smooth and consistent bottom contour, maintaining direct water contact.
