About the board:
The Rincon was designed with Rincon, CA waves in mind – a high-performance board made for speed and maneuvers through sections. It features rounded rails with a high apex and good turning at the bottom, allowing effortless rail-to-rail transitions without locking up.
The bottom has a single concave running from nose to tail, with the deepest point between the fins, generating lots of speed. Combined with the rails, this makes the board fast and loose.
The outline has a slight bump about 18” from the tail, creating more surface area at 24” for extra planing, while the gentle break in the outline from the bump shortens the turning point, allowing quick short-arc turns.
This model should be ridden at your everyday board size, or 1–2 inches larger for bigger waves as a step-up.
