About the board:
The Malibu is the most fun board in our entire lineup!
It works in a huge variety of conditions and for a wide range of surfers, of different weights, ages, and skill levels. Fast, easy to maneuver, with excellent glide and amazing paddle power to catch waves. The bottom contour is smooth and progressive, generating good speed and projection.
The bottom has a subtle concave in the middle, transitioning into a gentle double concave between the fins and finishing with a VEE in the tail. The rails are rounded and soft, so you won’t catch an edge in any situation.
The outline has ample nose area, but it’s not oversized, and a nice curve from mid to tail provides shorter, tighter turning arcs. The Malibu can be ridden from 5’2 for smaller surfers up to 8’6, in small waves up to about 2 meters, depending on the surfer’s skill.
