Trestles Model
The Trestles is a board designed for everyday performance in waves ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 meters, aiming to handle a wide variety of surf conditions.
The bottom has a central concave that transitions into a double concave between the fins and a gentle VEE at the very end of the tail (last slice). This bottom provides high maneuverability, being more forgiving than a single concave.
The rails are smooth and rounded, preventing rail catches even in low-speed conditions.
The board has slightly more nose area, offering extra planing in the fuller sections of the wave, without compromising short-arc turns.
Regarding thickness, it has extra float in the chest area, making wave entry easier without affecting maneuverability (excess foam can interfere with turns).
The outline features a HIP, creating a break in water flow that releases the board more easily. The HIP also adds surface area between the center and the fins.
The squash tail has good surface area, excellent planing, and great glide for turns.
