The head shaper of SharpEye Surfboards, Márcio Zouvi, began his shaping career in the late 1980s, influenced by Californian icons such as Rusty, Linden, and Al Merrick. SharpEye’s focus is on high-performance shortboards, designed with progressive surfing in mind, allowing surfers to push their limits.
Márcio Zouvi was born and raised on the shores of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He founded SharpEye Surfboards in 1992. With 37 years of experience, he is a world-class shaper.
