Evandro SantAna started surfing at the age of 12 and spent many years as a competitive surfer, which gave him a deeper understanding of how a surfboard should perform in different types of waves.
He began working with Beto Calibre, who was his sponsor at the time, where he had the opportunity to learn every step of the surfboard manufacturing process. However, his true passion for design emerged when he had the chance to shape his first board.
In 2002, he was invited to work at Pró-Ilha Surfboards, where he met and worked alongside some of the best shapers in Brazil and around the world, such as Zulmar Leão, Evandro Bonservizi, Beto Santos, Adriano Pigmeu, John Carper, James Cheal, and Johnny Cabianca.
Today, with over 30,000 boards shaped, he develops outstanding work with surfers of all skill levels.
