About the board:
This is another model that deserved special attention, and we decided to give it a refined upgrade in design.
Based on previous versions of the Velocity, we redesigned the bottom contours and refined both the rails and outline, resulting in the Velocity-X — a board with a distinctly modern approach.
The bottom starts with a single concave through the first two-thirds of the board, transitioning into a double concave with a vee off the tail. This setup generates excellent speed and projection, while keeping the board loose without sacrificing control.
The rails are well rounded, becoming more refined toward the tail, making the board highly responsive to rider input. Additional highlights include easy paddling into waves and strong stability, both while paddling and during maneuvers.
A perfect model for surfers who enjoy aerials. Ideally, ride it about 3 inches shorter than your standard board.
