About the board:
Based on the SD, this board features a flat deck and is part of Rusty’s Gothic Trilogy – Blade, Hatchet, and 419Fish.
Flat decks provide more flex and are more responsive to the surfer’s input, while angular rails deliver projection without catching.
The profile is that of a high-performance board: narrower nose and tail, short arcs, and quick maneuvers. The bottom has a single concave, deepened in the fin area, finishing with a flat tail.
In terms of outline, the only difference from the SD is the tail, which features a thumb tail. The rocker is the same as the SD: a good curve but gradual, generating speed without sacrificing maneuverability.
Use the same size as your everyday performance board to maintain the same volume.
