About the board:
The New Traveler is an evolution with a design that sits between the original Traveler and the Blackbird. The crew was heading to Indo and other warm-water spots with hollow waves and needed a versatile board, giving us the New Traveler.
It performs great in head-high waves, handling steep beach breaks and hollow reefs. The New Traveler features a slightly narrower nose, more overall rocker, and thinner rails with the wide point just behind the center.
It has a light single-to-double concave bottom and a slight rounded Vee at the tail in the last few inches to help maintain smooth turns and assist in rail-to-rail transitions. The New Traveler is clean and simple, just as it should be.
