About the board:
The MISO is a versatile board. It’s not a fish, but somewhat suspicious. The design is quite curvy. Despite the hard wing in the outline, the template maintains its curvature.
Bottom: The entry is quite flat, the middle has a shallow concave that transitions into a moderate double concave/vee of about 0.16 that peaks around 16 to 18 inches from the tail. The tail rocker is fairly aggressive, allowing for short arc turns. The overall extra width adds surface area, helping to generate lift. The lower apex rails also contribute to lift and provide quicker rail-to-rail transitions.
Originally designed for smaller days, it performs surprisingly well in medium-sized surf. Versatile.
