About the board:
The Lowrider is a shorter, intermediate board. It has a semi-full nose and a rounded tail, with moderate width in the center, slightly on the thinner side. The entry rocker is very low, hence the name. This helps the Lowrider catch waves easily and provides quick response. The exit rocker is aggressive with a smooth flow, giving it a tight turning radius. A rounded tail helps keep turns clean and smooth.
The bottom entry starts with a modest V, flattening slightly in the middle. Moving toward the “zone,” the V becomes more defined and deeper, slowly transitioning into a slightly hooked V, finishing with a mildly rolled V at the tail. A classic nose adds some volume to the front end, which improves paddling and supports an advanced stance.
The Lowrider can be set up with any fin configuration. Designed for small, everyday surf, it also performs well in slightly larger conditions. A great addition to your quiver! The setup is your call. For a more performance-oriented feel, we recommend a 4-fin setup. If you prefer something more cruisy or traditional, go with a 2+1 setup.
