About the board:
The eGG comes straight from Rusty’s roots. He has been shaping eggs since his early days at G+S in 1972. As he developed his own shaping style, his eggs followed suit and evolved in their own direction. The eGG incorporates some of these elements.
This board was built for the days when you want to catch more waves and have more fun. It will perform anywhere from knee-high to just above head-high waves. The eGG has a good amount of tail rocker, but not much in the nose. The tail rocker allows the board to be ridden with more performance, while the softer entry rocker helps you catch waves earlier.
It’s a bit thinner than expected to aid flex. The bottom starts with a light single concave in the nose, flowing into a very subtle V in the midsection, and then a double concave peaking at the sweet spot, 24 inches from the tail. Beginner or advanced, every surfer should have a fun board in their quiver, even if it’s their first custom board.
