About the board:
This model made Tokoro famous worldwide and has been refined year after year for medium to large waves, especially on the North Shore, Tahiti, Fiji, and Indonesia. It’s a board for those who need maximum stability, control, and speed in powerful waves with fast barrels.
The 4VC outline has its volume distributed more forward to aid paddling and wave entry, while the narrower tail stabilizes turns. The rocker has a strong curve in the nose for drops in steep waves and flows gradually toward the tail.
The bottom features a double concave, finishing in a V Bottom at the tail, giving the board precision, security, and flexibility when required. The 4VC is very sensitive to the surfer’s center of gravity — simply adjust your stance.
