The SE fin was developed by Marcio Zouvi and belongs to the Accelerator family. It was refined with the help of the SE elite team, including Kanoa Igarashi. The outline is very similar to the Performer and Accelerator models, with a touch more sweep and slightly less area in the tip. Recently updated with carbon fabric inlays and AirCore construction, the SE fin is stiffer than the original version, allowing it to generate more power and speed when pushed hard through turns.
This versatile fin releases a bit faster and feels slightly looser compared to the Performer/Accelerator, while the flat inside face ensures quick response when initiating turns. It’s perfect for lightweight to medium-weight surfers who surf fast and like a lively feel under their feet.
