FCS II adapters are designed to fill the gap between the dual-tab fin base and the front slot of the fin box, allowing you to use traditional FCS fins without leaving empty space in your fin box.
Keep in mind that this system allows you to use older FCS (dual-tab) fins in FCS II boxes—but not the other way around. If your board has the traditional FCS system with screws, this kit will not convert it to FCS II. You will still need to use the original system fins.
